Specifically, I'm using Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041007 Debian/1.7.3-5

Does it happen to anyone else with mozilla or firefox in linux or windows?

Doesn't crash here, using FF 1.0PR on WinXP

Lemme boot into Linux and see if it crashes there.

It doesn't crash Firefox 1.0PR for me. You shouldn't be going to that site anyway. :p

It's a known issue. I can't recall the bug number. Do you have flashblock / flash click to view?

edit: This bug was filed specifically about georgewbush.com, and you can see it was resolved as a duplicate of this bug, which I filed back in 2003. You can see that there are 3 major things the developers wanted to fix, and various patches have been checked in.

So this is a flashblock thing and not a right wing conspiracy against open source software in support of big corporations that fund their political agendas?

This particular crash bug will crash just as well on valid XHTML.
