I'd think that a U.S. based group putting a bounty on a U.S. citizen's head would constitute some form of terroristic threat. How does our society tolerate such a thing?

good question... wonder what Eric Holders answer would be

you can punish someone for making someone else paranoid?

OH FFS!!! For the last effing time, I'm not talking about GZs paranoia. I've been harping on vigilante justice and the apparent acceptance of it by some in this thread. Yes, GZ may very well be paranoid delusional - fine. But you're deliberately dodging my question or you're failing dismally at reading comprehension.

So, for the last time... Let's ASSUME that there are some people out there that want to give GZ what he deserves. Now, let's suppose that said hypothetical people in fact, give GZ what he deserves. Should said hypothetical people be held accountable for taking the law into their own hands, i.e, administering vigilante justice?

what is it you are saying he deserves? Are you saying he deserves some type of violence?

I think groups of people should constantly follow him. He is a suspicious character and may be up to something.

I think that is a great idea. I also think they should be equipped with skittles and Arizona iced tea.

It depends. If they're following him and he attacks them, they have no duty to retreat and he can be shot without consequences. They can't even be arrested for it.

Depends on the state. But at least you had the guts to answer my question. rudeguy is being deliberately obtuse.

No. I am avoiding having you put words in my mouth and intentions onto my words.

I will not help you build your straw man. If you would like to address what was actually said, fine. But don't build a fake scenario and ask me to defend it.

Do all the people crying for vigilante justice against Zimmerman realize their massive irony?

they might be thinking good for the goose good for the gander....

Anyway my general thoughts on his visiting the firearms factory, trying to arrange boxing match is that he should have really followed the advice of his lawyer Mark O'Mara. He probably wouldn't be having as much bad luck with publicity.

Also Mark O'Mara apparently is not going to help Zimmerman with that defamation suit anymore.

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news...an-nbc-libel-hearing-20140206,0,5873735.story
Orlando lawyer Mark O'Mara on Thursday took another step away from his most famous client, George Zimmerman, by bowing out of a defamation suit against NBCUniversal Media.
The judge removed O'Mara, at his request, as one of Zimmerman's defamation lawyers.

O'Mara's would not say why he was leaving the case but in a prepared statement, called Zimmerman's claim "strong."
O'Mara's law office might be following that rule of not saying anything if you don't have anything to say at all, and just commenting on the positive in that statement. /shrug.
