At what power setting would you put a beef (burger) patty and for how long for medium well?

all my forman grills only have one setting - "on"
and i usually put it in there for 8-10 minutes but thats pretty scorched...so I'd say 6-8 minutes for a 1/4 pounder

This one has a digital setting.

It's the Lean Mean Fat Grilling Machine, if that makes a difference.

there's a few Foremans that have different settings.
Honestly, if you need help cooking a burger on a Foreman, you should just be eating out.
But if you insist, we normally put it on high and takes ~3-4 mins depending on thickness of the burger.

BTW we love our Forman.

I figured I ask just in case.

Just got done cooking it...about 4 mins and it was quite good.
