Throughout history exemplars of real truth arise. Some call them avatars, some call them prophets, They have many names. There is nothing in a name. It is a finger pointing to what can't be defined. These folk sometimes undertake to create a spiritual path unique to their time place and quality of people. We could call such phenomenon religions or schools. What they are called again is meaningless. These teachings religions schools, etc are designed to awaken people from their sleep and this is possible because the teacher is awake and can combat the mechanical sleep that is the lack of perception of the real. So when the exponent dies the teaching falls back into mechanistically, leaving only the smell that there was once there something that was real.

What Carlin does with great aptitude and insight is to dissect these carcasses. He takes apart what is imperialistically dead but without the realization that once there was something there that was real. Believing that he is dissecting the actual religion is just another religious mechanical belief. He and his audience have no idea they are watching the ridicule that long ago because ridiculous but has nothing to do with anything. Thus we have two kinds of fools, those who believe in dead machines and those who thing all there is to religion is dead machines. As always the truth remains hidden.

And we pay the money because we have lost our own self respect, the feeling we are worthy of love. It's much easier to pay and imagine you're loved than to actually feel it, to do the real work of self repair. God is love and love is all there is, but to be able to love is to be able to forgive and who will do that? I see evidence that some can but not me. All I know is that the enemy is me. I cling to blame and of course others, not me. What a curse too.

I ran into one of these wise men one time, of course in my opinion and one of the cursed things he said that I read was this: Who should not criticize? You. Of course, also, as the reader that you was me. What are we but critics?
