we have a formula to work out the capacity of footings:
q = 0.5*gamma*B*N*s*d*i*g*b
where
q = ultimate capacity of footing
gamma = weight of soil
N = bearing capacity factor
B = footing width
s = shape factor
d = depth factor
i = inclination factor

does anyone know what the 'g' and 'b' are????

g = gravitational dynamic pull in radians
b = conversion factor
