Geography ?: Which southern state would line up with westmost SA?

Looking at flat maps you concept of the Earth is a bit skewed. When I looked at the actual pictures of NA and SA, I was surprised at how far east SA was. Looked at globes numerous time and never really caught that.

Of the choices in the poll, Florida is the most accurate. If you're talking about Lima, Peru as being the point in SA you're lining up with, it's Virginia/N. Carolina. If you use Santiago, Chile as your reference point, the accurate answer is Rhode Island or Mass.

On a related note of geographical trivia, the southernmost point in Canada (Point Pelee and Pelee Island in Lake Erie) are (just barely) SOUTH of the California / Oregon border.
