Greetings:

I just finished building my new spaceship, and am using an Asus Geoforce 4 Ti-4600.

Unlike other video cards, for example the Visiontek Geoforce 3 I last used, I can find no way to change the GAMMA.

There are games I play that do not have brightness settings, and I must rely on increasing the Gamma in the video properties.

Am I missing something, and if so, where? I have looked on every tab, in every advanced and basic area I could find.

Thank you,

ChinaCat

Are you using the Asus or Nvidia reference drivers? Can't help you with Asus drivers, but with Nvidia's drivers there's Brightness, Contrast, and Gamma sliders under Display Properties -> Advanced -> nView -> Device Settings -> Color Correction.

Thank you much!

I am using the reference drivers. In the Geoforce 3, those controls were right there on the Color Correction tab. Getting to those same controls in the Geoforce 4 is a bit trickier, until you figure it out.

Appreciate the help.

Welcome to Anandtech. Just as a note, the card is a "GeForce" not "Geoforce". You have an extra "o" in there.
