NEWS

*** IP CHANGE WILL BE THURSDAY 11/11 *** heh... okay... 11/12!!! *SIGH* 11/15... network admin won't be in today...

The server will be moved this coming week to its own IP address... I know I've been promising that for ages, but a change in command at work and someone else's server getting hammered while streaming video thereby crippling our corporate T1 has caused delays. Once moved, the server will be running on standard ports and will be hooked up to the UPS :) Once it has it's own IP address, I'll move to establishing a domain to make it easier to find the stats.

I believe the outstanding work on the stats is:

1. DPAD - update the calculation for completed work. I haven't done this since the last update in the project
2. SB - Add a calculation for cEMs/sec

Aside from that, no other suggested changes come to mind... if you have some, feel free to contact me!

POLL
I've listed everything that is in scoser's TeAm Report. Some projects have great 3rd party stats already, so I'm not sure there is much to be gained by doing stats for those projects, unless you think I can do a better job ;)

Edit 1 - As a guidline, there should be a reliable stats feed available at a regular basis

Edit 2 - For those who haven't seen them, my stats can be found here

Edit 3 - If there are other analytics you would like to see on the stats pages, I'm all ears! :)

Let the people be heard! :)

It was OGR-24 that ended, and OGR-25 is only about 10-15% through Phase 2, so it should be running for a few more months.

I love your stats :p

I don't know if Einstein@home is a project we run but its on boinc's list of projects as well.

as seen here:

BOINC-based distributed computing projects include:
Climateprediction.net:Improve the accuracy of long-range climate prediction.
Einstein@home:search data from the Laser Interferometer Gravitational wave Observatory (LIGO)in the US and from the GEO 600 gravitational wave observatory in Germany for signals coming from rapidly rotating neutron stars, known as pulsars.
LHC@home: improve the design of the CERN LHC particle accelerator.
Predictor@home: Solve biomedical questions of protein-related diseases.
SETI@home: Analyze radio-telescope data, looking for evidence of extraterrestrial life.

Einstein@Home hasn't started yet. It intends to start in early 2005, IIRC.
