This is my problem:
As I installed Win98 on my new Duron system, the mouse has been recognized as a Standard PS/2 mouse. Well, nothing special, I thought, I'm gonna install the original drivers afterwards. Till now (two weeks) I didn't make the drivers work with the mouse. Windows always reinstall their own standard drivers over the Genius drivers.
Once I made the drivers work, I do not remember how anymore, but after rebooting the computer Windows reinstalled the drivers again.
On my old Pentium 100, conected to the serial port, the mouse worked perfectly.
Can somebody help me, please?
