My Dad is 5'9" and weighs about 270 😉

My Mom's dead but she was 5'3" around 135-145

Offspring

Me 6'3" weigh around 270 was 340 in college for football

Brother 6'"5 around 300

Little brother 6'2" around 250

My grandparents were short also. Is that typical for a "tall" gene to skip a couple of generations?

It all depends on the parents. Maybe you mom and you dad both carried recessive genes for being tall and it was only expressed in the offspring, who knows. alot of it can be upbringing and nutrition

which grandparents? from your moms or your dads? what about weight issues? cause it seems like those genes are linked somehow. height and weight that is.
