Are they actually able to salvage sun dust from the thing, or is NASA pulling our chain to pretend like the mission was a success?

I've read that from initial analysis they found a few containers that were supposed to be holding the solar wind particles that hadn't been visibly ruptured. But then again, after hitting the ground that hard that may not matter anyway.
 
Hmm interesting. It just seems to me that if it was so vital to catch the capsule with the choppers, then it would be highly unlikely that fragile equipment and I assume solar wind particle canisters would survive the crash.
