Has anyone had any problems wiht generic "slockets?" I'm haveing a problem with a hot processor (40 C idling) and I think it might be this generic matrix slocket. It's not cooling, I've got a couple case fans blowing air in and out at the right spots and a golden orb on my Cumine 600e.

Anyone have any bad experience with these things??
I've got an Iwill Slocket II on order, I'll post the results when it comes in.

Yes, some of the generic slockets have been reporting wrong temps. They also do not seem to overclock as well. My Iwill II works great. Good luck

Yeah !,I had a cheapo slocket too once ,bloody thing gave me no end of random lock ups or boot failures ,usually if I had moved my PC ,I figured it was giving bad contact problems ,it also was giving too high cpu temp readings by about 4-5C & they would fluctuate ALOT more than my Asus slocket

40°C at idle is NOT hot! The real measure is temp under load, like running SETI or Quake3.
