Generic RAM

Theyre both the same speed. ALthough one may be 3-3-3 and the other 3-4-4, you wont see a difference. They are both PC 3200, DDR 400, CL3.

Both these modules are about the same speed. They are both PC3200 (DDR 400Mhz) and run at CL3. They may work just fine in dual channel mode, but since they are 2 different brands there can be stability issues, CL3 ram is pretty much the slowest RAM you can get, but P4s are not picky with timings like the AMD64 processors.

If they work, its not really worth investing in a dual channel kit unless you plan on overclocking or need the fastest RAM there is.

Doh, ssvegeta1010 beat me to it

thanks guys, so it would not be a good idea to get corsair or whatever, and this is fine performance wise? i think in my opinion it is okay.
