I'm running 3x128MB PC133 (all brand names) but I want to stick a 512MB in there, replacing a 128MB making it 768MB total. Is going from 384MB to 768MB negligible for the most part ?
Can't afford to spend too much and I see pricewatch has GENERIC brand 512MB PC133 for around $60 total. Think I should ? Or should I always stick to brand name ?
Not O/C'ing my 1GHz T-bird. Just want more RAM to run games for one... and a lot of other times I multitask (web dev stuff, etc.). Is generic sufficient ?
What's a heat-spreader and do I need it ?
