Do you buy the generic form of stuff (food, medicine, etc..) or do you spend extra and buy the name brand?

I tend to buy all my medicine generic, 1/2 my food generic, and all my clothes namebrand. Namebrand clothing, especially nike and hilfiger, seem to last twice as long than brand-X at walmart...

I can't stand a lot of no name food. Especially pop and chips. Clothes..it depends on what it is. Sweat pants, track pants and the like I always buy name brand, because they last. But for dress clothes, whatever looks the nicest.

always buy brand clothes and higher quality electronics from brand names......there's just too much junk out there

food....mostly brand, I prefer quality food.

medicine.....lol my country isn't large enough to contain a 'generic' and a 'brand' name for most medicine, which is fine really.

mostly namebrand.. but sometimes not on clothes. like I have a hard time shelling out an extra $60 for a shirt just because of the logo on it, if I find a nice looking shirt for $20 I'd get it. 'cept for shoes of course, get name brand on that
