Anyone have a clue of what kind of comp it will take to run this game?
The Westwood site doesn't tell me what they are!
 
A safe estimate would be go with a mid range CPU and a good video card and a decent ammount of memory.


1.6 Ghz Athlon XP or equiv.
256 mb DDR 266 or 333
Geforce4 (don't get the MX, and spend as much as you can on this part)
WinXP or Win2k Pro


That should be acceptable for any game right now and for the next 12 months or so.

I have an athlon 650 classic, 384 mb PC100 RAM and a Geforce3 and I can run almost any game right now without too much annyoance.
 
just don't use a Kyro II with this game. My 64mb Hercules Kyro II runs everything else great on an XP 1800+ but not generals. I have a ATI 8500LE on the way from Newegg just so I can play the game. All I can say is the game better be worth $120 or I'm boycotting Westwood and EA.

Incase your wondering, $50 for the game + $70 for the card (maybe it was $79) = approx $120 for a strategy game.
