General Via driver questions.........

Via recommends using the AGP and IRQ routing for Win98 but I get the impression many are also using the INF and IDE Busmaster components also. So do I follow Via's recommendation or do I gain anything by using all four?

Also, what's with the USB filter "driver?"

I'm using an Epox 8KTA2 which is solid.

Thanks in advance.

I would say use what you need then. I installed the latest 4into1's (4.25 I think) and it was painless and efficient. You can get 'em individually though if that's your preference. Just my experience.

Hi,
I had many blue screens of death when I had the IDE busmaster drivers installed on my win98 machine, very unstable.
