I have 4 "experience" items on my resume. A law firm, a cable company, a pizza place, and a web magazine.
Law firm I just started on contract so it doesn't really count for anything.
Cable company is next most recent but I only worked there for 2 months. But I worked in a internet help desk role so it gives me credit for being handy with computers, I get to put fancy acronyms like DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, etc.
pizza place is only on there because of the longevity.. I worked there over 2 years.
web magazine is like 7 years old, was really good experience but I think it might be counterproductive having something so old on there.
I just recently put the cable company back on, I had been omitting it from my resume because of how short the job was. But the training I got is not something I want to hide from employers.
The pizza place stands out as cheapening me and I want to remove it, but without it it looks like I have never had a job except for one I quit after 2 months.
ideas?
