Hi,
it's been a while I haven't followed computer industry, and have some questions to get up to date:

- Will the last p4 processor from intel, at 65nm, will be a 64bit processor ?

- Will the next generation of post p4 processors from intel, based on 65 nm, will be 64bit processors ?

- Will windows vista be a 64bit OS ? Will it allow to run current 32bit softwares ?

Cordially,

So far, I don't seen any changes from the current situation with XP - existing in both 32 and 64-bit variants. The issue with 64-bit OS's in this context (Intel EM64T / AMD64), is not being able to run applications (because these processors are binary compatible with 32-bit apps), but having adequate driver support -- your hardware must have 64-bit drivers in order to work under a 64-bit OS.

On the plus side, it seems that many XP 64-bit drivers work under Vista 64.
