I need advice on which monitor to pick. There are so many tradeoffs
Will be backed by i7-2600K + GeForce 970 4GB (ASUS STRIX) - at least for a while
70% productivity (programming + office + surfing)
30% gaming
Since most of usage is productivity, the monitor must obviously cater to that well. I'm also not open to idea of having two monitors, one for each of these tasks. I already have a Dell U2711, so I'd appreciate informed comments on how the new addition would outperform my current monitor.
Obviously, gaming will be done mostly @1080p, I don't really hope to achieve full tilt with a single 970 and I'm NOT buying two more just for the sake of it. I'm buying QHD for productivity, not for gaming.
I do care about good / fluid performance though, hopefully no stutter, tearing and such. I don't play fast-paced FPS online, so I don't care about ms precision. RPG (Witcher) / strategy (Civ) are also to my liking, also hopefully stutter-free.
Basically, what's available to me, is listed here:

Everything below 500 EUR strikes me as pretty much the same monitor where I just have to pick the design I like most. Also, the Acer Predator caught my eye because of g-sync, but is that worth the additional 100 EUR premium? Is IPS?
