General network help, work laptop at home

iamme

Lifer
Trying to hook up my work laptop to my home network. The laptop has an IP address on my home network. I'm able to ping my gateway and my desktop from my laptop. I'm able to ping 63.233.167.99 (google.com) from my laptop. If I put 63.233.167.99 in my laptop browser, I get google's site. However, when i try to open up "Google.com" in my laptop browser, I get "server not found". Basically, I can pull up any site on my laptop w/ the IP address, but not the domain name. I've tried to ipconfig /flushdns, but nothing.

Any ideas?
