DETROIT (WXYZ) - General Motors is holding a special event Tuesday morning to highlight the Chevy Volt as if officially launches the next generation vehicle at the Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly plant.
The event will feature GM CEO Dan Akerson as well as members of the Volt leadership and development team. The first production Volts are also expected to come off the assembly line during the program.

I saw the Volt at the SF car show and it looks pretty good. I wouldn't mind getting it but I got my sights on that Model S by Tesla.
