so what gives i spend bucco bucks building a REAL gaming platform and every title that i have grown to love ,is licenced by specific vendors for specific consoles!!!???? talkabout weres the cheese ,,,what am i a mouse in there little maze,,,,i paid over 300$ for my damb video card alone ,,,i could have baught a ps 2 but i wanted a ultimate gammer rig(ahem brag brag)why dosent bill gates ,,or n vida have enough pull to drag some of these developers to relize that soccer mom would understand if the game were on two platforums,,,,,,,I AND YOU ARE ONLY GETTING HALF OUR PAID FOR <FULL ON ENJOYMENT!!

All the console vendors are paying developers for exclusive releases. They're a businesses, they don't care a bit about you or your feelings, they just care about maximizing profits. Deal with it.

Find something for the PC that you do want to play -- there are 100 times as many PC games as there are games for all the consoles combined.

Try something you can't get on a console like an RPG (Fallout, Baldur's Gate, Dungeon Siege, etc.) or a strategy game (Jagged Alliance 2, Heroes of Might & Magic 3 (not 4!)) or a real-time strategy, or an adventure (Grim Fandango) or ...

ya but shouldnt the big computer manufactures excercise more pull and sign more software developers to put out to the pc platform,,,,,expecialy graphicly intensive games,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,like right now i could get doom 3 if i had ps2 but i have to wait for it to become old hat before i can touch it on the pc,,,,bs,,,,
