So with my new gaming PC i am getting two 10,000 RPM 150gig hard drives, should i put all my games on one and my system(vista) on the other? that is what i was told, but my only other question is do i put anything else on my HD with vista? such as drivers for my video card? or should it be, everything my system needs to run on one HD and all the games on another?

Since you are getting two hard drives, if you want maximum performance you can setup the drives to be in RAID 0 mode. RAID 0 is striping mode, where a single chunk of data is written/read across multiple drives, thus twice the amount of data can be written/read in the given amount of time. The only catch with RAID 0 is that if one of your drives fail then all your data is lost (since one half of your data is on the failed drive).

If you setup a RAID 0 array, Windows will see one physical drive of size 300 GB. From there you can install your OS and games onto that "single" drive.

You will need a motherboard that has a HDD controller that supports RAID. What kind of motherboard do you currently have or are planning to get?

Ok, that motherboard supports RAID arrays.
I cannot give you specific instructions for that motherboard, but the motherboard manual will have the detailed instructions on how to setup a RAID array.
