I've posted about this before XP
Basically over time this happened (after I upgraded luckily)... The corruption I was getting got worse and worse, and gradually went from only in 3D Applications to being anywhere at any given time (POST screen, anywhere). It's consistent with screenshots I've seen of memory issues.
The weird thing is that corruption comes up when I tap the card (physically). It always comes up in 3D applications at this point, but the Windows desktop displays fine (as do all the screens preceding it... POST, boot, etc.) until I hit the card, at which point corruption comes up that doesn't go away in some places (start menu, other things I can't move) until I restart.
Does this sound like something that's at all fixable, or is this typical of a card dieing?
