General cooling flow...help with direction

I have a cooler master 310 mid tower, cheapie case. Came with 120mm rear exhaust fan and I can put a 120mm intake front fan on, which I will and I will mod the front plastic and put some more holes in it for better intake flow. Then it has a side exhaust fan port, 80-90mm. Which direction should I flow it? OUT? IN? Its down low and towards the back, like by where the video card will be going.

Also, would drilling a couple holes in the top of the case to let some are leak out be okay, or would that cause the case not to flow as well?

System specs

850watt corsair psu
Phenom II x4 955 @ 3.2ghz, will try to OC to 3.5 or 3.6 with the stock fan and heatsink
sapphire 5850 GPU
gigabyte ma770-udp3 mobo

I will probably OC the gpu a little as well. What suggestions? Thanks
