This is a nifty quiz done in 6 parts and takes about 15 minutes to deteremine you scale of how you think in terms of masculinity and feminity. I've posted my results down below. There is no right or wrong, just how your brain processes information which everyone does differently. At the end of the text is a print out and break down of your score and how it compares to the average male and average female that have taken the tests. I took that test and came up genderless in my thinking processes which means I can think like both men and women according to the test =/

http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/humanbody/sex/add_user.shtml[/quote]

Here's my breakdown.

Part 1:
Angles
Score: 19 out of 20 to correctly identify angles.

Spotting the Difference
Score of 50%. I found half of them

Part 2:
Hands
Left thumb on top so I'm right brain dominate.

Part 3:
Empathizing
Score: 18 out of 20.

Systemizing
Score: 20 out of 20.

Eyes
Score: 7 out of 10 in correctly determining the mood of another based off eyes alone.

Part 4:
Finger Ratio
Ratio of 1 on both right and left hand.

73 millimeters for both the ring and index finger on both hands for me. (yah my hands aren't big)

Part 5:
Faces
Prefer women with more masculine features (I just picked the faces with the bigger eyebrows because I like chicks with nice full eyebrows. I find they are more expressive over anyother facial feature).

Part 6:
3D shapes
Score: 12 out of 12 (it said my score matched that of an engineer, imagine that considering that's what I am)

Words
25 words per word association for grey and happy. So 50 words total.

Ultimatum
I would demand $25... or exacty half, which is lower then anyone else.. hmmpf excuse me for being fair minded..

which makes me think like both men and women and I'm genderless in my thinking :)

My average on the scale was zero which I thought was really wierd.

You guys forgot to put on the scale of female to male thinking where you were more inclined to think. I was dead smack in the middle at zero.

I score as a typical male, I was at the top of the charts with verbal and spatial ability and empathizing, and I scored as a strong systemiser.

Your personal brain score: 50 (Female)

Part 1:

Angles
This task tested your ability to identify the angle of a line by matching it with its twin. This is a spatial task, which looks at how you picture space.

Your score: 15 out of 20

If you scored 13 - 17: You found this test neither hard nor easy. This suggests your brain has male and female traits when it comes to spatial ability.

Spot the difference
This task tested your ability to identify which objects changed position. You lost points, if you incorrectly identified objects.

Your score: 86%

If you scored between 67 - 100%: Those with a female-type brain generally score in this range. Your ability to remember where objects are may serve as an advantage to you when you're trying to find your way around places. You're more capable of recalling landmarks to get from one place to another.

Part 2:

Hands
You said your left thumb was on top when you clasped your hands together.

Left thumb on top: This suggests the right half of your brain is dominant. Some studies theorise that as a right brain dominant person, you may excel in visual, spatial and intuitive processes.

Part 3

Emotions and Systems
This task looked at whether you prefer to empathise or systemise.

Empathising

Your empathy score is: 9 out of 20

Systemising

Your systemising score is: 15 out of 20

What does your result suggest?

Systemisers prefer to investigate how systems work. A system can be a road map, flat pack furniture, or a mathematical equation ? anything that follows a set of rules. A score of 15 and above suggests you're good at analysing or building systems. Men in general are better at systemising.

Scientists are keen to learn more about people who score high or low on both tests. They want to find out whether or not empathising and systemising are linked. Is a possible to make yourself more empathic?

Eyes
This task tested your ability to judge people's emotions.

Your score: 6 out of 10

If you scored 4 - 6: Your result suggests you have a balanced female-male brain and find it neither easy nor difficult to judge people's emotions.

Part 4:

Fingers
We asked you to measure your ring and index fingers. Your ratios came to:

Right Hand: 1.04
Left Hand: 1.05

Part 5:

Faces
This task looked at how you rate the attractiveness of a series of faces. The images you looked at were digitally altered to create slight differences in masculinity.

Your choices suggest you prefer more masculine faces.

Highly masculinised male faces possess more extreme testosterone markers such as a long, broad and lower jaw, as well as more pronounced brow ridges and cheekbones.

Interestingly, women's preferences are said to vary across the menstrual phase. A more masculine face is preferred during the 9 days prior to ovulation, when conception is most likely.

Part 6:

3D shapes
This task tested your ability to mentally rotate 3D shapes.

Your score: 10 out of 12

If you scored 10 - 12: Are you an engineer or do you have a science background? People with these skills tend to score in this range. Past studies have concluded that people in this range have a more male brain.

Words
This task looked at your verbal fluency.

Your score: you associated 11 word(s) with grey and you named 14 word(s) that mean happy. We are assuming that all the words you entered are correct.

Ultimatum
This task asked you how you would divide money.

If you had to split £50 with someone, you said you would demand £25

So far on the Sex ID test, men have demanded 51.6% (£25.80) of the pot and women have demanded 51.0% (£25.50), on average.

What does your response suggest?

Sex differences are small in this task. Demanding less than 60% of the pot (ie £30) is more typically female. Demanding more than 65% of the pot (ie £32.50) is more typically male.

Scientists believe that people with lower testosterone levels tend to take fewer risks so they are probably more willing to keep less for themselves. Those with higher testosterone levels tend to drive a harder bargain and are less compromising.

Men's testosterone levels fluctuate over the seasons and are at their lowest levels during the springtime. This is said to influence their bargaining power

I scored dead center, but a result that I found quite interesting...

When I took the face test with male preference, I scored as liking "masculine" features.

When I took it with female preference, I scored as liking "feminine" features.

I wonder if that might not reflect an error in test methodology.

I got 100% in all parts of the test. Fingers: 10. Left hand:5, right hand: 5.

My final score was the best, whatever that was. I think it said I'm the alpha male.

Ok, seriously, this test served as a good example of my performance when tired. When I take tests when I'm well rested I do well, but if I'm really tired my performance drops considerably. I was able to match 19 out of 20 angles, but only 4 of those 3d shapes. I'm usually pretty good at that one, too, but I think that's the first to go when you're tired.

I did it until they wanted me to measure my fingers, at which point the only acceptable answer was to leave.

It's not a test of that sort. It's not a measure of ability but of a process of thinking.

Hey, can some of you less sexually rigid folks take the face test for both genders? I'd be interested in seeing how the results compare.

The reason you find female faces with masculine structures and masculine faces with female structures more attractive isn't because of a mess up with the testing. Actually, if it had been the opposite, that may have been a mix up. You are looking for middle of the road values here. Which makes perfect sense to me.

Not to mention, society rules are changing in how we perceive attractiveness through the media. Attractive women are having more masculine features WITH over abundance of female features. But for the face, it's broader jaws, higher and stronger cheek bones for example. Those are masculine traits but more and more female models that are pushed off on the American society have those traits as well as the big boobs and thin waists. Males are being portrayed more and more metrosexually, with more feminine characteristics. go watch something like Evermore or some other crappy teen program where males are being portrayed. they look wayyy to pretty as guys and people are steering more into attraction.

It's neither right now wrong what you find attractive in the opposite sex but is by and large derived from how you were raised. Get told fat people are attractive all your life and you'll come to love fat people. Get told someone with a big nose is attractive and you'll look for that. Make sense?

Both ways I preferred feminine features.
