Bignate got the answers.
Woman pants waist is above the navel, while men are about 1.5-2inch below that of women pants, hence the crack. There are exceptions that some newer highbred pants that design with low waist line to show off the belly button.

I personally don? see why women would want to wear uncomfortable tight low waist cut pants to compensate for being below the hip. If the low waist cut were fitted to the women they would have to hold it up while walking, or would face the terrible embarrassment of the pants fall down to their knees at any given moment.

could. The drunk jumped on stools and peed all over the bar. The bartender
jumped up and screamed in joy because he won $500. In the back he heard, a
man yelling in frustration. He asked the man why. The man replied, "That drunk
fool bet me $1000 that he can pee on your bar and you would be happy about
it!"
