Gender of a processor

Is a processor a 'he' or a 'she'? And, when it's a dualcore, what is it? Will it become a 'they' or an 'it'?

Well, 'they' can be masculine, feminine or neuter.
I don't know about referring to a processor as a 'he' or 'she', unless you are convinced your processor is so fast that it has achieved sentience, and thus requires a gender.
Regarding dual cores, remember - it's two cores, but one CPU.
So in my view, an X2 is an 'it' just like this P4.

Intel's are "it"'s because they suck.

AMD's are "she"'s, because they are pure beauty.

^t3h truth

*Edit: Wasn't sure if you guys read 'QFT' as 'Quoted For Truth' or 'Quit F*cking Talking' 😛

Since mine has PINS that are INSERTED into a SOCKET...I would have to say MALE!!!!

On the other hand since this is male dominated area of users I would like to think it was a female since I love it so....I am not gay!!!!

Making your motherboard a female, but wouldn't that make Intels LGA 775 motherboard a male and the CPU an "it".

Intel's MBs are males, cause they have pins, and the LGA 775 CPUs are females.
AMD's CPUs are males cause they've got pins, and their MBs are female.

I'd say my Venice is a beautiful woman 😉

Or maybe a whore, since she doesn't run stably with UT2k4 when OCed much 😛

WHAHAHAHAHHAAHHHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH!

It is all part of Ted Hoff's Master Plan for Global Domination. Beware ye foolish humans who would wear the Crown of the Silicon Realm for ever has Ted clamoured for your souls.

Edit: for spelling and to answer OP

I believe the chips are male in truth but are "its" so as to not create erroneous misconceptions that would violate the dictates of decorum and politally correct posturing.

every guys tool or toys but the one between his legs is a she... cars..boats..bikes...processors.
