What did Obama know about the deaths in Benghazi, when did he know it and why did he lie?

Mighty presumptive on your part. Quote the "lie", just so we have it for posterity & also some sense of wtf you think you're talking about.

Let's just wait and see.

Difference between the left and the right...

Left - Let's wait for Obama to assert Executive Privilege.
Right - Obama lied!!

Fixed.

(And, as in Fast & Furious, I strongly suspect that claim is coming.)

It's really time somebody told you although we're well aware you won't listen or probably even be able to understand it as leftie brains are stuck in adolescence. But here goes.

These comparisons that lefties like yourself continuously make have us in a continual state of laughter. Making comparisons to events that happened thirty years ago while making assumptions and trying to draw parallels between events that have no correlation doesn't make you look smart to us. I do understand that the smugglie brotherhood gets chubbed up a little and thinks one's really been scored for the team when they read these but that just gets us laughing too. I hang here for the entertainment value and the left rarely disappoints. It's like listening to grade-schoolers make arguments.

Oh, and 4 American deaths in Libya isn't the end of the world as we know it, but it could be the end of an Obama presidency. He wasn't smart enough to position himself above the fray early on. He realized way too late he'd made that mistake. He couldn't even coordinate the message.

Our "smartest president ever" is not smart. His foreign policy program looks like it was laid out by the Keystone Cops. If we can't get him to resign maybe we can get him impeached. It can become a standard of Democrat presidencies.

And I dearly love the usual conspiracy theories & states of denial from you & your fellow travelers. Skipped right over the invasion of Iraq like it never happened, huh? Afghanistan, too.

Recall that it was you who tried to create a parallel between this contrived flap over Libya and Watergate, something that happened not 30 years ago, but rather *40* years ago... which is an obvious invitation to reference the Beirut bombing of the Marines in 1983.

I rather expect that all this will go away & righties will have shit on their shoes once again after Petraeus testifies...

Not that you'll care, because facts don't matter when it comes to conspiracy theory.

Nice innuendo. There's nothing to support that claim, and there's nothing to impugn the integrity of the Inspector General's report & punitive action taken in F&F, either.

Repubs, lacking any sort of honest policy beyond the same policy that crashed the economy, are desperate for an "issue", any issue that distracts the electorate from their ongoing obstructionism in the face of the greatest financial calamity since the Great Depression.

It's any port in a storm.

It's any lie to hide the truth to Democrats. Obama has to claim "Executive Privilege" in Fast N Furious to protect Holder, he'll have to do the same thing to protect his own ass in Benghazi. He's busy making Nixon and Bush look like ethical presidents compared to him.
Remember "transparency"? Remember "ethical administration"?
Bwaahaaaahaaaa!!

I love the projection & innuendo required to create this particular conspiracy theory, I really do.

The most telling part of it all is that, challenged to quote the "lie", Righties just rave on in ever tighter circles of delusion. Quote the lie! Then we'll all have something concrete to discuss. Failing that, you fail entirely, and you are.

I can't wrap my head around the outrage here. From what I can see, the administration had directional but not absolute information a couple days after the attacks that it was a terrorist attack. So the administration hedges its briefings and don't come out clearly one way or another. Rice and others simply tell what they've been told to say.

In about a week - the administration comes out clearly that it's a terrorist attack. So the biggest complaint is that they were slow in coming to a conclusion?

I've seen no evidence that the administration is slacking or not pursuing the perpetrators of the attack and past history gives me confidence the gov will find and eliminate them.

The lack of security was a huge mistake and steps should already have been taken to correct it. So we mourn the loss of our fellow citizens and we move on.

What's the scandal? What's grounds for impeachment? What the hell is going on?
