I wanted to know if this was just lucky or if most RAM modules are like this from the same company .
I bought 2 x 256mb GeIL DDR PC3200 about a year and a half ago and 2 x 256Mb GeIL DDR PC4000 just about 1 month ago these are the details from all 4 modules :-
256Mb GeIL PC3200 DDR400 - Module 1
Serial Number 20020725h
Manufacture Date Week 6 / 2002
256Mb GeIL PC3200 DDR400 - Module 2
Serial Number 20020725h
Manufacture Date Week 6 / 2002
256Mb GeIL PC4000 DDR500 - Module 1
Serial Number 20020725h
Manufacture Date Week 6 / 2002
256Mb GeIL PC4000 DDR500 - Module 2
Serial Number 20020725h

The serial numbers and Manufacture dates are identical , i bought the first 2 3200 modules just together but they werent packaged as a dual channel kit .
The second 2 PC4000 were bought a year and a half later but they were packaged as a Dual Channel Kit .
Does anyone know if that was that just lucky that the serial numbers and dates are exact ? or is this normal for most RAM modules by the same Manufacturer ?
