hmmm.... from what i've heard it can sometimes take higher voltages to get geil modules to run at their rated speed. Make sure your moboard supports upping upping your vdimm to at least 2.8 volts.

most out there do... some support higher, but that shouldn't be necessary. Btw, what the heck kind of scary front side bus overclock are you planning that requires pc4200 ram? (o_O)

P4 2.x "B" chip @ 200+ FSB w/ 4:5 memory ratio ? ;)

Why bother? Although bad timings like that won't affect a intel setup too much, your amd rig will take a big hit with such $hit timings. And besides, why do you even need ram that can do 250+ if you're planning on 240? 240 is about pc3800.

my corsairXMS 3500 sticks do 230mhz fsb DC @ 5-2-2-2.0

i like corsair xms3200/3500s.. cauze they're good at tight timings.

looks like maybe 3500 then eh? Either way i want to achieve 2.3-2.4 ghz but with a much higher fsb than i see most people heading for, one way or another ill achieve it, this NF7-S has alot to show me i think
