Geil GX22GB8000DC problem

Hi,

I have a GX22GB8000DC 2GB kit and am having some problems. It seems that two different p35 boards (Asus P5K and Gigabyte P35 DS3L) will not POST with this RAM installed, but do just fine with two other manufacturers? sticks (Mushkin and Kingston)

Not like I am running junk; I am using a 8800GT video card, a Corsair 520 HX psu and an Intel E4600 C2D processor.

Any ideas what may be causing the problem?
