Yesterday i got this sticks this is where im at so far after 1 night of testing

Rig:
Core 2 Due 6700 B1 5 (stock cooler)
Asus P5b deluxe wi-fi (unmodded BIOS 706)
GEIL PC 6400 CAS3 2x1GB(no fan on them)
X1950XTX
Zippy 600w
Room temp around 20ºC

I havent played much with "alpha timings" i'll start playing with them now, im still a noob in asus p5b deluxe timings but there are few options so if easy to learn.

Very nice.. How much? :D Can you take it higher if you run it @1:2 (FSB:RAM)?

not sure how much they cost in USA got themo from asia, im trying to vmod my motherboard to get them higher

2.7v is way to much for DDR2, man. I wouldn't recommend anything above 2.3v. That's some awesome, RAM, though.

definitely need to be actively cooled...With my testing of my sticks at 2.3v even with fan directed at them never get hot...2.7v does sound high though...

Holy. My sticks won't go past 1100MHz on Intel system no matter what. (Even with 5-6-5) Strange thing is it does up to ~1100MHz @Cas 4. It's gotta do with SPD programming. Amazing RAM speed on Intel system. Yeah volt can kill but you don't care, right? :D

when you overclock you have to take risks :p


i have a fan over them tryed 2.8v but didnt gain more maybe is motherboard that limits my oc i cant use cas5 either

You need to do vMCH mod to get much above that. I think these sticks can do it though :)
