Still, good price, but I need to pay shipping and tax.

My local Fry's (Bay Area) has it for the same price. saves the shipping cost.

I would like to get more memory but its a bummer I have to pay shipping and tax.

If you dont have a MOBO that supports Dual Channel is it a waste to get something like this? I thought I read somewhere that it doesnt but Im just curious.

Bottom line: $140 is a great price for 1GB PC3200 non-generic with CAS 2.5. Wehter you use it dual channel or not.

Outpost reports these as 2.5 7 4 4

I think Geil reports their numbers differently than everyone else and I should compare these numbers against other parts as 2.5 4 4 7. Am I correct and if not, can you straighten me out (at least as far as memory timing is concerned)

Here is a Review

It seems 3dGAmeMan got it to 255mhz @ 2.8V with 2.5-3-3-7. Of course overclocking is never gauranteed, but this is some serious firepower from "value ram."

I just ordered this. I had originally ordered the Infineon special from www.komusa.com on the 1st but it has still not arrived and USPS says that they haven't shipped it yet. Well for $10 cheaper I got this shipped via overnight...And with Norton Systemworks 2005 FAR included.

Hmm, lots of people on forum I saw complainging a lot about the stuff. One guy went through 3 sticks that wouldnt do 200 at stock voltage.

Edit: also, that review was sponsored by GEIL... I dont trust that guy.

Every review they have on that website is sponsored by a company that supplies the product. So they all have equal potential of being biased. Overall, the products that he reviews are usually great products and get good ratings by most websites anyways.

Those reviews make the GEIL value line seem pretty good. Now if DHL ever gets here I can play with my new machine, ugh!

I have this stuff in my main machine. Works well, though I'm not overclocking it.

I got mine in and it works well on my machine even overclocked, I ran up to 430 FSB with no issues.
Tested it with prime95 for 12 hours @ 2.7 volts on a MSI K7N2 ILSR Delta board. (NForce 2 Chipset)
