geico auto insurance any good?

They are generally fairly inexpensive but I've heard issues about getting claims with them. They are dumb dumbs though and protective was much cheaper for me. I'm now with alfa, which is insanely cheaper than even protective.

I agree with the "dumb" comment, however, they were the cheapest for me.

They have been more expensive for eveyone in my family who have called them. Insurance is different for everyone, just call around for the cheapest price.

I had Geico. However, when I signed up, I had terrible credit and a ticket. Also didn't have isurance for the year prior. Thus, they were just about my only option.

Now, a year later, I'm changing. Through Geico, my policy was roughly $800 every six months for 2 drivers and 2 cars. I'm switching to the company that does my home-owners insurance. Rate will be $383 every six months now.

I suggest calling around. Prices vary greatly. If you can find an insurance broker not tied to any company, they can usually run a list of many different places and help you find the cheapest.
