GeforceFX w/ Zalman cooler?

Out of curiosity, would any of the Zalman VGA coolers work ok on the newer GeforceFX? Seems to be a decent performance boost between the FX5600 and the ti4200, and for $50-$60 it might be worth it, but being in an audio studio, I'll want to get rid ofthe noise level quite a bit...

Why would you do this? The 5600Ultra doesn't have the FlowFX cooling.
Normal GF hsf

Also, I believe AA/AF is the only area it outperforms the Ti4200, and at this level of card that is a hollow victory.

You would be better off buying a 9700 nonpro or waiting to see what happens after nV35 launch with the nVidia line.

Looking for a fanless solution, and I'm just wondering if the 5600ultra is producing too much heat to carry a zalman on it.

Sounds like I should just pick up the ti4200 for now, since I know it can take a zalman just fine.

The Zalman can tackle a superhot .15 micron Radeon 9700 Pro and still manage to overclock better than the stock fan.

The .13 micron 5600 Ultra should be a cakewalk for the Zalman.

Very cool - thanks!
