Just wondering how people are doing overclocking their Geforce4's so far.. if anyone even needs to overclock 'em :) .. Then again, whats need got to do with it.

So if you are overclocking your geforce4 post the model, brand, and your core/mem of course :D

I just did for fun and it raised my 3D mark scores by 200, but the stock speed is plenty.

ah so overclocking the gf4's is minimal with very little performance increase huh.. I suppose thats for the 4600's but maybe the 4400's are more worth overclocking if you can bring them up to the 4600's speed.. I'm gettin a visiontek 4400 tho and I know they have stock cooling so I dont expect much, but hey.. its a geforce4, good enough for me :)

I have a Geforce4 Ti4600, using 1024x768 res on all my games including 4x antialiasing, and I see very very smooth and solid performance. The question of overclocking has never crossed my mind.

:D Try MOHAA on Omaha Beach map in multiplayer mode and that will change your mind. Easily below 30 fps at times, even without FSAA...
