I recently recieved my GeForce TI 4400 and I like to play Half-Life Mods like Counter-Strike, TFC, DOD, etc. Everything is alright when I first start playing but then after a while my controls are delayed. I hit foward and I'm standing still - 3 seconds later I finally go fowards and I let go of the foward key and I'm still going foward, same with left right backwards. I go to turn with my mouse and that is slowed down also. Even typing or pulling down the console is delayed. In the background I see others moving just perfectly fine. I can watch everyone move perfectly with no lag or anything. The is no server lag and there are no fps problems. I can watch myself die perfectly fine because I can't move right but I can see everyone moving perfectly fine without delay. It just seems like all my controls slow down. This happens right away in CS and DoD. In TFC it takes a while. Anyone have any idea what may be wrong?

I have:
Windows XP
320mb SDRAM
PNY Technologies - Verto GeForce4 TI 4400
AMD Athlon 1.2ghz
Tyan S2390 / Trinity KT systemboard

Yes, I've downloaded the latest drivers on nvidias site and tried the newer beta drvers. Same thing happens with all of them.

Try sites in the half-life community for help. If it's happening to you, its happening to someone else too.

I would be one of those somebody elses :disgust:

For me, it is usually in TFC (I don't play CS much at all)

I'm blaming it on the 1109 update that just came out. (after all, it began in the first game I joined
after updating and has continued since.

Really wierd part, it usually is worse if a Medic or Spy is close to me
also seems worse on large (but fast) servers

/me sighs (Dear Valve, can you say BETA TEST?)
