GeForce4 MX 4400 vs GeForce2 GTS

My friend just bought a couple of pieces to upgrade his pc and he's selling his old parts to his parents.

Now he bought them a GeForce4 MX, but he could keep it for himself and give them his older GeForce2 GTS.

Also, I have to mention that his brand new mobo and the geforce4 are both from MSI, so the flaming red color is extremely sexy, which goes in the favor of the MX 🙂

Which card will perform best ? Any relevant links to benchmarks, reviews, etc.. would be appriciated.

😀 GF4MX440 is in every way superior to the GF2GTS, the GF4MX420 is about even to the GF2GTS but it offers a few worthy enahncements.

😉 way the GF4MX440 performs slightly faster than the GF2TI and has better image quality, TVout, dual display and slightly enahnced AA too. Definitely the card to go for.

My GF4 MX 420 overclocked (390 Core/540 Mem default 250/333) outperforms my GF2 GTS by leaps and bounds. The overclock alone got my an increase in 3dmark01 of 1700pts and over 2700 pts higher than my GF2 GTS.

A 440 should be a little lower performer than my overclocked 420, but once overclocked, should perform very nicely.
