okay, i'm getting ready to buy a nice card and i'm still trying to figure out what all i want... i don't want to spend more than $200, but i've got to make a purchase within about a week... this is leaving me a bit worried about the radeon 9800 coming out...

anyway... looking at the gefroce4 now... i believe the "4800" is the same as the 4600 8x... something about calling it 4800 only in europe?

i'm looking on pricewatch and the 4800s are listed as 4800SE

what the hell is SE ?

can someone point me in the right direction with my $200 please? ug... i want most bang for the buck/futureproofing.. i'm running with a 2000 tbred B and 512 PC2700

thanks guys for answering the same question, over, and over, and over... day, by day, by day... "oh lord" :) <--meet the parents reference

easily a 9500 Pro if you want best and want to spend all of your $200 as the 9500 Pro is easily the fastest in that range and not to forget that it is easily the most future proof (supports DX9), otherwise I'd say go for a Ti 4200 and save some money

Ahh, that makes more sense. I was wondering why the 4800SE was selling for less than old 4600's.
