A friend of mine recently purchased a GF4 4200 Ti (Gainward) card to replace his GF2 GTS (Winfast) running XPpro on his machine (Abit KT7 mobo). He pulled the GF2 and installed the GF4 without uninstalling drivers. He's getting scrambled video on VGA, even at the initial bios screen. Funny thing is, TV-out works fine. RMA'd 1 card and the second card is having the same problem...
Any ideas?
1st thing to pop in my head is some type of driver issue, but the inability to even output the initial bios screen messes with that theory.
