I just recieved my GeForce 3 Ti 200 last week, and was very excited to see how it would perform. However, the highest 3DMark 2001 score I could get was around 4000, and that was using the default settings. I've tried everything I could think of to increase the performance, but nothing has worked. Just this week, I decided to lower the resolution to 640x480x16, just to see what would happen. I was shocked to see the score stay around 4000, which meant the card wasn't holding it back!!
I have an XP 1500+ OCed to 1.4ghz, so I don't think the CPU is the problem. I think the real bottleneck in my system is the ram. I have 128MBs of OCZ PC2400 ram running at 140mhz (280DDR). I hoped this would be enough, but I don't think it's cutting it.
Any ideas?
Thanks for any help with this,
