GeForce3 can be preordered at a price of about $550 now. Is the GeForce3 worth the price? Under antialiasing modes, GeForce3 gets ahead Voodoo5 6000 by +18% to +41%. Is it a good deal to get a GeForce3 that is not only faster than Voodoo5 6000 but also having extra features such as hardware T&L and DirectX 8.0 compliance with a lower price? A Geforce3 just isn't worth it right now. Wait until it comes out and see how much the prices fall for Geforce2's, and then get one of those. The Geforce3 won't be worth it until the price comes down and games actually take advantage of its technology.
 
FSAA is the only technology that from the Geforce3 that I need. If you want to run 1600x1200 under FSAA then you should get a Geforce3.
