Both can be had for just a bit over $100.

Which one should i get?

Get the 8500 .... trust me $162.00 for the 128MB ver is so worth it! Duel monitor support, DVD playback, way better image quality then the GF3/4 also. They oc to 300/620 with the 128MB ver very nicely. I just dont like the geforce 3 at all .... really not much it has .... the 8500 is on par with it and has more features. Just my $0.02

Tom's Hardware VGA Charts

As far as speed goes, the Radeon 8500 should be slightly faster.

if you look at Anands ut2003 , you'd know that the ti500 and even ti200 are faster than a 128mb 8500.

According to Tom's numbers, GF3 Ti500 is faster.

That link you post only shows 3dm2k1se page.
If you look at the other benchmarks Tom's shows, the GF3 Ti500 is at least as fast in most,
and a good bit faster in Aquanox as well as Max Payne
. Don't know about you, but I play
Max Payne a lot more than I "play" 3dm2k1se.
