What do you guys think about these 2 cards? How do they compare to each other? Which one performs better overall? What experience have you had with them? Any recommendations? If they're about the same price which one is a better deal? Thanks in advance for any info!!

Definitely the GF3 Ti200. Price is about the same, performance much better than the Radeon 7500.

GF3 Ti200. A fair bit faster and has a much better feature set and more reliabile drivers.

Unless you abosultely need the proven 2D visual quality of the R7500, and betted DVD, and DualHead implementation then the GF3 Ti200 is clearly the better option. And it's a far better card for gaming.

Oh, is that the only $99 Ti200?? What about:

$200 Radeon 8500 oem vs. $250 Gainward GeForce3 retail?

Winner from round one vs. $180 Palit Microsystems GeForce3 Ti200??

Is there a performance difference between the oem and retail Radeon 8500?

Should I upgrade my Radeon 64mb DDR VIVO? The new version of Counter-Strike seems to run a bit choppy and my fps dropped dramatically. The card's sole purpose is to run CS best. Also, I can get my hands on a used GeForce2 64mb PRO for pretty cheap (hopefully less than $75), should I just take this route?

How about a Radeom 8500 OEM? They cost $190 at newegg which is cheaper than some G3 Ti200's and performs much better. Even though the clock isn't as high, the performance decrease is pretty small and it still whomps a Ti200. And if you're the type, if you get a card with 3.6 ns RAM you can overlock it to retail levels without too much difficulty. So if its about the same price and performs better, I'd call it a no-brainer.

For us Canadians, taking price into consideration, various Ti200 models cost the same as an oem 8500. The 7500 is about $100 less. So its really more of a Ti200 vs 8500LE comparison.
