GeForce3 Question

I have an Asus GeForce 3 Ti200 T2 V8200 series video card but I can't seem to get the maximum performance out of it when I play Counter Strike. Currently I am running 72FPS constant but I should be able to get 99FPS or more. This may sound nuts over a few FPS but If I can't run maximum performance with CS I don't think I can with any game... Anyone got any tips for me?

My Current Setup

Athlon XP 1900+ @ 1600MHz
ABit KR7A VIA KT266A
Crucial 256MB PC2100
AGP 4x (side band off)

right click destop, properties, settings tab, advanced, geforce 3 ti200, additional properties, opengl settings, vertical sync ---->off by default or always off

what spanky said too, you need to do both

go to ur console and type: fps_max "99"

i remember something saying ~75 fps was the max it reports? or i could be totally wrong...

also i think it depends what resolution u r running CS, and if u enabled AA.

Just checked my Vertical sync says Always On By Default.. Hmmmmm

I'm running CS at 1024 x 768 16bit

aa has nothing to do with it. i'm running 4x aa and 8x ani
