Geforce3 + DVD support

I bought a geforce3 and I thought I read somewhere that it has some sort of hardware support/acceleration.

I have both winDVD and powerDVD.
With WinDVD I turned on hardware motion compensation (is this what they mean by acceleration on the gf3)

Also on PowerDVD there was an optin for hardware acceleration but it was greyed out and I couldn't access it. What do I do to enable hardware acceleration with PowerDVD?
 
DVDGenie will allow you to turn on MC on the Geforce3.

I leave it off, it looks better without it.
