How hard can it be to do a quick search for the lowest price? Makes you wonder about some people's intelligence doesn't it. Hey, I could make a killing on that site.

This means this moron will pay $600 for a G3.

"A fool and his money are soon parted"

The $64K question: did he really think he bought a G3 for $255?

This seller cant be faulted: he made it clear. If you look at his other auctions he is selling lots of other URLs (mostly for paintball stuff)
I wonder what I could get for a $60 256MB ram URL??

Edit: Damn, seven posts in the time it took me to type this!

Exactly. The seller did nothing wrong.

One guy wrote in his retracted bid message, " Wrong item, this is false advertising."

False advertising?? The guy used the word URL around 20 times. It is definitely the bidder's responsibility to know what he/she is bidding on.

url for video card

I agree that the people are trolls, and that I wouldn't do something like that, but the bottom line Read the Description Carefully.

BTW, what happens when the high bidder says he isn't going to pay for it? Does fleabay ban him? I have never had a situation like that happen?

I never look on these sites like eday but, for crying out loud, they have some of the biggest rip offs I've ever seen. It rivals that of department stores. I thought people who bought things online were a little smarter than the average Joe Blow. Never ceases to amaze.
