GeForce3 and Win XP crash problem

i am running a gainward geforce 3 caed using the detonator 23.12 drivers on the windows xp pro operating system. Every time i play a game i get frequent freezes with looping sound or just get bumped back to the desk top. The only other drivers i have tried were the 23.11 version and had the same problem. Any ideas would be great. thanks.
 
this may have NOTHING to do with your drivers... the game may not be XP compatible...

try running it with Win2k and Win98 compatibility modes, RESPECTIVELY and one of the two oughta work... 🙂
 
Do you have the latest chipset drivers and BIOS for your motherboard?

Also try disabling AGP x4 and fastwrites.
